Manufacture of the First Withdrawable Switchgear in Iran Transfo Industrial Group

The first withdrawable switchgear, designed and manufactured by in-house experts at Iran Transfo Substation Development, was unveiled on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

On the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution, Iran Transfo Substations Development Company proudly unveiled its latest achievement: the medium and low voltage draw-out switchgear. Designed and manufactured for the first time by domestic engineers and specialists, this switchgear represents a major advancement in providing reliable and secure energy supply to industries sensitive to power outages.

The draw-out switchgear is designed to allow quick replacement and maintenance without completely disconnecting the unit from the circuit. Therefore, even during maintenance, electricity continues to flow safely and continuously, making it a vital solution for oil, gas, and petrochemical industries where any power interruption can cause significant losses.

In addition, draw-out switchgears are used in power plants, steel, copper, cement projects, and sub-distribution substations, adhering to full safety standards and enabling rapid repair of damaged feeders without risk to personnel.

The unveiling ceremony of this advanced switchgear was attended by more than 6,000 employees and their families at the 6,000-seat Enghelab Hall in Zanjan, reflecting the broad reception of this domestic technology.

Iran Transfo Substations Development Company, one of the 16 companies of the Iran Transfo Industrial Group, demonstrated its capability in domestic engineering and industrial self-sufficiency through this advanced product, while also announcing plans to enter the field of renewable power plant construction. This switchgear is not only a practical product but also a symbol of Iranian innovation and advanced technology in the country's electricity industry.
